Resource Center
One place to start when you need help in the Illinois Valley for food, hygiene, IDs, housing and utility resources, health coverage, work, transportation, crisis support, and more.
And a promise: if anything on this page is confusing, skip it. Call (541) 592-6139 or walk in Monday–Friday, 9–5, and we’ll help you figure out where to start.
Food
At IVFC: Our pantry is open to anyone in the valley who needs it. We follow food bank income guidelines, but we don't ask for proof, paperwork, or ID. If you tell us you need food, we will help you.
Shopping hours: Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 12:00–4:30pm.
Our pantry is shopping-style, so you can walk through and choose the food your household actually uses, including fresh, frozen, and shelf-stable foods as available.
Can't make shopping hours? To-go food bags are available Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, while supplies last. Just come to the front desk. We also keep ready-to-eat options available for people without a kitchen or way to cook.
SNAP and other benefits: Oregon DHS Self-Sufficiency shares our building. Come into the Resource Center and we can connect you directly with their office. You can also manage benefits online through ONE Oregon. ODHS: 541-592-4149

ID Cards & Documents
At IVFC: We help qualifying neighbors obtain Oregon identification cards and birth certificates from any state. Having a current ID is an essential tool for employment, housing, benefits, banking, health care, and many other parts of everyday life.
Commonly needed documents can include:
Any photo ID you still have, even if it is expired
Birth certificate
Social Security card
Mail or other documents showing your Oregon address
Marriage certificate or court record if your name has changed
Don't have these? Come in anyway. Figuring out what is missing is often the first step, and we can help you determine what you need.
